The frustration was real. These were homes worth protecting. Their timber frames, leaded lights, and hand-blown glass told stories that simply could not be replaced.
Yet owners were left with an impossible choice: tear out the very features that made their homes special, or accept cold rooms, draughts, and rising energy bills year after year.
